Dr Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum

A picture of Dr Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum

I picked up Dr Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum in my first build a box from Latest in Beauty back in March, it was the full sized version and as such has lasted quite a while. In fact I'd say I've at least another two or three months of use left in it so far.

Latest in Beauty Box

I've posted about Latest in Beauty before when I detailed what I ordered in my 'make your own box' back in March, since then obviously I've used up all of what I'd ordered so I thought it time to make up another box, last time I chose the six item box, this time I've gone for the nine item box and pretty much like in my last box I've opted for skin care products to try out rather than makeup.

So here's what I ordered this time;

Holika Holikia Silky Foot Mask Sheet

I work on my feet, have done for twelve years, that's eight hours a day, five days a week. I haven't done the maths but that's a lot of time standing up, not counting any time outside of work either, so obviously the skin on my feet gets a bit battered. So with that in mind, I decided to give Holika Holikia Silky Foot Mask Sheet a try.

Strivectin Illuminating Serum

I chose Strivectin's Illuminating Serum in my 'build a box' from Latest in Beauty primarily from the claims that it would "diminish dull skin, even skin tone and enhance overall clarity," of the skin. My skin isn't particularly dull but I do have different skin tones across my face, from perfectly decent to the Rudolph the red nosed reindeer affect and a few other shades in-between. So anything that could even out those tones would get a thumbs up from me.

All About Hand Care

I'm going to let you in on a 'skincare hack' I discovered a while ago all about hand care, I came to this realisation after years of having major issues every winter with the skin on my hands, like my mother before me, when the winter comes along the skin on my hands throws up the white flag of surrender and goes into meltdown.

I would have liked to have shown you how my hands looked during that time but I haven't any photos as I no longer get into that state for one reason and one reason only.

Dry Body Brushing, How and Why.

Dry Skin Brushing,

Something I've started doing again recently after a very, very long break from doing so, is dry body brushing. I use a sisal mitt which I picked up for 50p from a local shop, one side is sisal, a durable natural plant fibre and fairly scratchy, the other side is a soft flannel.

"This 2% daily salicylic acid exfoliator is the perfect choice for treating skin complaints such as blackheads, enlarged pores, congested skin and acne where the skin is oily. Cult 51 Immediate Effects Serum

I'm going to jump right in now with a post on a serum that was recommended to me via a friend who knows about my on going hunt for a decent eye cream that targets fine lines under the eye, which I appear to be developing despite my best efforts to battle them.

That serum is the Cult 51 Immediate Effects Serum coming in at a staggering £95 for 30ml.
